How to Make Your Wedding Day Checklist

A wedding day checklist is not the same as your wedding day timeline (itinerary). After you’ve made your wedding day timeline/schedule, it's time to make a wedding day check list.

This checklist will be a list of everything you need to remember to bring along with you to each location on your wedding day.

Think about what you need to take with you to the hotel and other venues.

Don’t assume you’ll remember every detail on your wedding day! You can prevent unnecessary stress by making a detailed checklist.

Ask yourself these questions:
  • How many locations will you be going to before your wedding ceremony and what will you need at each location? Are you going for hair and make-up before heading to the ceremony location to change into your dress? Will you be taking any wedding photos before the ceremony?
  • This happy couple made a wedding day checklist

  • How much food and water do you need to take along to each location? (no joke, too many brides don't eat or drink enough on their wedding day)
  • Where will you be going after your wedding reception and what will you need? Are going out on the town with friends? back to a hotel room? Will you need a change of clothes, flat shoes, makeup for touch ups?
  • Will you be leaving for your honeymoon right after the reception? If so you'll need to make sure your luggage and travel documents are safely with someone you trust at the reception.
