Customize your wedding photography checklist based on who you are involving in your wedding, the rituals you are making a part of your ceremony and reception, and your wedding day timeline.

Make sure your photographer also has a copy of your wedding day itinerary so he or she can anticipate events.

If you are doing some or all of the posed photos before the ceremony (recommended), ask the photographer how long he/she will need to take the photos and what time you should schedule various members of the wedding party to be available for the pre-ceremony photos.

Note: The sample wedding photography checklist above is comprehensive so you can see all the possibilities.

You're not expected to get all these shots.
